Dent & Scratch Repair for Green Hills Drivers

Tight parking decks and busy retail lots leave their mark on Green Hills cars, and we repair those dings and scrapes at our Foster Ave shop.

Deep scratches and a crease across the doors of a blue car

Green Hills packs a lot of shopping, dining and traffic into a small area along Hillsboro Pike. Crowded parking garages and surface lots mean narrow spaces, swinging doors and shopping carts rolling loose, so the most common damage we see from here is the parking-lot kind: a crisp ding in the middle of a door, a scuffed corner of a bumper, a key-length scratch.

Those are usually the most satisfying repairs to make. A small door ding with no paint damage can often be massaged out with paintless dent repair, and a scuffed bumper cover can usually be repaired and refinished rather than replaced.

Driving over from Green Hills

From Green Hills, the usual route is I-440 east across the south side of the city, then down to Foster Ave. Surface streets toward Franklin Pike work when I-440 is backed up.

Our shop: 2606 Foster Ave, Nashville, TN 37210. Call (629) 259-2361 before you head over if you have questions.

Before you buff out a scratch

Run a fingernail across the scratch. If it doesn’t catch, the mark may be only in the clear coat and could polish out. If it catches or shows primer or bare metal, the area generally needs paint work to stay protected.

Frequently asked questions

Someone dinged my door in a Green Hills parking garage. Is that a PDR repair?

Often, yes. Small round dings without cracked or chipped paint are typical paintless dent repair jobs. Creases near a body line can be harder, so we'll look first.

Can a scuffed bumper be repaired instead of replaced?

In many cases. Scuffs and shallow gouges on plastic bumper covers can usually be repaired and repainted. Cracks through the cover or broken mounting tabs may need a replacement.

Dent, scratch or collision damage?

Send a few photos of the damage with your estimate request, or call the shop to talk it through.
