Dent & Scratch Repair for Bellevue Drivers

Bellevue commuters on I-40 and Highway 70 bring their dents, chips and bumper scrapes across town to our Foster Ave body shop.

Cracked and scraped front bumper on a red car

Bellevue sits on the far western side of Davidson County, surrounded by hills and woods near the Harpeth River. Daily commutes run mostly along I-40 and Highway 70, and that interstate mileage brings stone chips, debris strikes and the occasional low-speed bump in slowdowns near the city.

Wooded neighborhoods and winding back roads add their own wear: deer encounters, branches that scrape along a door, and front bumper covers that crack after meeting a curb or a steep driveway apron.

Bellevue to Foster Ave

Take I-40 east from Bellevue, then I-440 east around the south side of the city and on to Foster Ave. US-70S, which becomes Harding Pike closer in, is an alternative if the interstate is slow.

Our shop: 2606 Foster Ave, Nashville, TN 37210. Call (629) 259-2361 before you head over if you have questions.

Cracked bumper covers

Plastic bumper covers can crack in cold weather or after a hard bump. Small cracks and torn edges can sometimes be plastic-welded and refinished; large breaks or missing pieces usually call for a new cover painted to match.

If you can, include a photo looking up under the bumper so we can see the clips and the absorber behind it.

Frequently asked questions

I hit a deer near Bellevue. Can you fix that kind of damage?

Yes. Deer strikes usually affect the bumper cover, grille area, hood edge or fender, all of which we repair. If anything affects safe driving, sort that first.

Can a cracked bumper be repaired?

Often, if the crack is small and the mounting tabs are intact. Larger breaks are usually better handled with a replacement cover.
